Hey! I’m Erika!

Fun Facts About Me

1. I have two Australian Shepherds - I'm eternally covered in dog hair. One of them is named after a Clemson wide receiver (see fun fact 10 lower on the page).

2. I didn't even know what Occupational Therapy (OT) was until I was in college.

3. My favorite summer activity was always, by far, volunteering at the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters in Virginia.

4. I like being artsy - calligraphy/hand lettering, texture art, DIY kinds of things. Even though I'm an awful drawer and my handwriting is less than ideal. It's very cathartic. I got a Cricut recently and love trying to make all the things.

5. Big fan of jigsaw puzzles and reading psychological thrillers.

“I'm here to help families find joy and ease in their everyday lives. Parenting can be tough, especially when sensory differences come into play, making behaviors and attention more challenging. Together, we dig into the WHY behind these actions, finding the best supports to create a thriving environment for both the child and the family.”

~Erika Trump, MS, OTR/L

If this feels like exactly what you've been needing, I'm all in!

Whenever you're ready, I'm here to help you take that next step.

Teaming up with me grants access to my calm and even-keeled energy, which is sure to rub off on you! Co-regulation at its finest.

Which comes in clutch on the days that you and your child are feeling extra stressed.

Families I've worked with appreciate how I can come up with solutions on the spot when things aren't going as planned.

I know you’ve got a lot on your plate, so I intend to keep things simple during our work together.

I’m here to remind you.

I want you to understand that the behaviors and struggles your child experiences are not a measure of your parenting skills. So please don't blame yourself.

Our needs are always developing. And it’s normal to have tools that we are still searching for to meet those needs. No one is at fault here.

You're doing your best, and there is no doubt about that.

List of things that make me qualified:

More Fun Facts About Me:

6. I enjoy teaching others what I know about OT and the developing brain - whether it’s OT/OTA students or clinical students.

7. I weight train 4-5 days per week - necessary sensory input for me, and keeps me in shape to chase the tiny humans.

8. French fries are my very favorite food. Happy? Celebrate with some french fries. Sad? Drown your sorrows in french fries. French fries will never do you wrong.

9. I'm from Virginia Beach and my parents were in the Navy for 20+ years, but I never learned to swim.

10. My all-time, #1 most very favorite thing is college football. Any given Saturday from August-January, I will be parked on my couch from noon to whenever the last game finishes. We set up an extra TV in the living room in the Fall just for football.

My programs were designed with you and your family in mind.
