Testimonials

  • Erika is amazing. You absolutely want her involved in your child’s therapy regimen. [My son] is 4 years old, born with a chromosome 6 deletion, and also diagnosed with severe autism. From the beginning of our relationship with her, she has been genuine, a wealth of knowledge, and a pleasure for [my son] to “play” with. She has transformed OT from something he dreaded and screamed through, to now when she’s at the door he runs for a hug. I’m thankful for the time and effort she puts into changing our baby's future!

  • We love Miss Erika! She has really helped us better understand our son’s sensory issues and has helped make our life and our son’s much easier. As a new mom all of this can be a lot, and Erika makes things so easy to understand and is amazing with our son.

  • Words cannot express how thankful I am for you. You have helped us and guided us through so much. You helped me to understand my [child]. My whole family is so grateful for you. You truly have a gift to see children as they are, their struggles and strengths, and to problem-solve the best way to help them live their best lives. We are beyond grateful to have had you in our lives.

Constantly in correcting mode.

Sitting on the floor in your pantry for the fourth time today, whispering to yourself, "We'll get through this."

Your child isn't being difficult—they're facing challenges you're still trying to figure out.
As you down a juice box, tears flowing, craving a moment of silence after yet another chaotic day.

Before it's back to managing every detail of your child's day, ensuring chores, homework, and household routines are all taken care of.

More moments that bring a smile to your face.

As you sip your coffee and ease into your day, you're struck by how much your family dynamic has transformed since starting therapy.

Now, chores start and finish without constant reminders. Your child's diving into activities just like their peers—and loving every minute!

They're handling noisy environments like a champ, which means weekends are packed with family fun you never thought possible.

And seriously, when was the last time you had a pantry hideaway moment? You're rocking the 'me' time while still creating precious one-on-one memories with your kid.

Here to help you see your kid feel their best.

Fluent in all things neurodiversity, sensory integration, and nervous system regulation. It’s my wheelhouse, and that passion fuels progress!

Using some pretty sweet metaphors, I'll help your child (teens included) understand why their brain works the way it does.

Leave the guesswork to me, so you can focus on guiding your child with confidence.

I hope that removes a significant weight from your mind, like shedding 100 pounds of stress just by hearing it. Feeling lighter already!

What is sensory integration:

Sensory integration helps your brain understand the world through your senses. We do this all day without even realizing it. But for some, sensory integration isn't so seamless. It’s like managing traffic in your child's brain. Imagine your child's brain is like driving on 26 and 526 at rush hour. Extra traffic or unexpected roadblocks can disrupt the flow of traffic (or information) in your child's brain. They can still function, but it may take extra time and effort to process and respond to their surroundings.

Here's what you can expect from start to finish of our time together:

  • Not sure if occupational therapy is right for your child or family? Schedule a free, 20-minute consultation by phone or Zoom. Let's talk about how we can spark positive change in your child!

  • I’ll take a closer look at the challenging areas using tests, observations, and gathering your parent point of view. Then, we'll discuss the findings, current struggles and explore goals together.

  • Session frequency and intensity depend on your child's needs. Session length is typically 55 minutes. Parents/caregivers are encouraged to join! For intensive programs, sessions are usually 3-5 days a week for 4-6 weeks. For standard services, sessions are typically 1-2 times a week. These timeframes can be adjusted to fit your family's schedule.

  • It's totally normal to feel nervous after the program ends, wanting your child to keep seeing positive results. If you notice other areas that could use extra attention to keep things running smoothly, I’m available for follow-ups! We can meet via phone or Zoom to adjust home programs and tackle new issues together!
